What types of COVID-19 tests are offered? We are offering the SARS COV2 Rt-PCR Test. We are helping America to get back to normalcy by providing COVID-19 testing to all, regardless of insurance status. Both of these tests have emergency use authorization (EUA) by the FDA. We are following the guidelines of the CDC and DHHS in our testing protocols for detection of the virus.
What is the difference? COVID-19 Antibody Testing Antibody tests can determine if you have had COVID-19 in the past and recovered from it. It uses a blood sample from the patient. COVID-19 Rt-PCR Test This testing is to check if you currently have a COVID-19 virus infection. It uses a nasal swab to collect specimen from the patient.
Why get tested? Individuals who think they may have had exposure to COVID-19, regardless of whether they are showing symptoms, are encouraged to get tested. Doctors can send us their patient specimens for rapid results.
When can we get results? Results can be expected in 24-48 hours after specimen are received.
